Ask your Protestant friends:

1 - Please give me a reason for accepting the Bible that could not be used by a Muslim to consider the Koran inspired by God.

2 - Please tell me why you accept only a part of the Bible (as the NT and the OT canons were determined together - along with the title of Mother of God for Our Lady, BTW - and you don't accept part of the OT...), and on what authority.

3 - Please tell me why it would have taken almost 1600 years for the Bible to be correctly understood, if it is theoretically something anyone can read and understand.

4 - Please explain how can one know if his understanding of the Bible is correct if he has to rely on the Bible, and just the Bible (no Magistery, and no Tradition...).

5 - Please prove from the Bible that it is what you consider it to be (the only source of Revealed Truth, composed of the books you accept, all of them and only them). Of course everybody knows it is the Word of God, it is good for learning and so on, but please try to prove it is the only source of the Word of God, etc.).
